This webinar presents key investment areas and opportunities in Argentina, Brazil and Peru that can boost decarbonisation across prioritised sectors of the economy, and discusses potential incentive mechanisms that could improve the risk-return profile of the investment opportunities.
The previous webinar in this series on Latin America addressed the issue of financing. This follow-up session addresses questions related to investment areas and opportunities across the transport, energy and AFOLU sectors that will drive deep decarbonisation in the region. These investment opportunities have been highlighted in discussions with key stakeholders from government and the private sector and have been further developed through research undertaken by DecarBOOST.
The event will last 90 minutes. The format will be presentations and discussions by prominent players at leading universities and from within government and the non-profit sector in Brazil, Argentina and Peru.
